Inexplicably Awesome: While the bizarre events and impressive feats surrounding Dethklok could be chalked up to them being tied to The Prophecy, Charles Foster Offdensen's badassery and extreme competency in taking care of Dethklok financially, physically and emotionally is practically superhuman yet there's no indication that he's anything other than a normal man.Holy Back Light: During his Big Damn Heroes moment in "Renovationklok".But after the premiere it is no longer visible, at least to the naked eye. When Offdensen makes his triumphant return in the season 3 premiere, he has a scar from it. Good Scars, Evil Scars: When Offdensen got the everloving shit beaten out of him during the season 2 finale, the Metal Masked Assassin cut his cheek quite deeply. The Glasses Come Off: Subverted, the glasses usually stay on, it's the tie that comes off.Facepalm: Does a variation of this by pinching his nose bridge whenever Dethklok refuses to listen to him or does something stupid.Only, he's much more of a "wartime consigliere". Expy: According to Brendon Small, CFO is based on Robert Duvall's Tom Hagen character from The Godfather.Endearingly Dorky: Shows some shades of this in his free style rap.Though whenever he has Nathan yelling at him, the "surprise" part is more shock than anything. Dull Surprise: How he reacts to Dethklok's antics and the ludicrously gory things that happen on a daily basis.Dude, Where's My Respect?: Does a lot of things to keep Dethklok going, yet he never receives praise or recognition for it.Although the exact meaning and significance of the scene are currently unclear. Disappeared Dad: Possibly implied in the episode "Fatherklok" where he tries to get Skwisgaar to open up a bit more regarding his father issues, where he refers to his own father exclusively in the past tense and remarks about how it feels to lose the "might of a father's touch".Deadpan Snarker: Does this from time to time, especially if Dethklok does something stupid.Crazy-Prepared: If there's an obstacle in his way, then he'll probably find a solution for it, no matter how ridiculous it is.Catchphrase: "For the record, I tried.".But Now I Must Go: Terminates his contract with Dethklok in "The Doomstar Requiem", leaving to take the mantle as the new head of the Church of the Black Klok.Bond One-Liner: Loves trying to end meetings with these.Even after he quits in "The Doomstar Requiem", he ends up taking up the mantle of the leader of the Church of the Black Klok. As the series progresses, it becomes clear that he's the most important person working with Dethklok that isn't a bandmember. He's responsible for keeping Dethklok safe financially, physically, and emotionally. Big Good: Or a Nominal Hero borderline Noble Demon variant.Big Damn Heroes: At the end of "Renovationklok", showing up at exactly the right time to prevent Dethklok from signing a new contract with a corrupt record executive. It's quite impressive that he even managed to stay sane what with Dethklok's Manchild tendencies and the rather appalling treatment they give him on a daily basis. Beleaguered Assistant: Has shades of this on occasion.Summed up best in The Doomstar Requiem, when he finds out their best Klokateer was killed in an attempt to find Toki:.He has shades of treating his assistants as disposable, horrible workplaces that he could have forced the band to fix at least, has control of businesses and driving competitors to bankruptcy to protect their IP. Bad Boss: He's milder compared to the other examples, but considering his treatment of everyone else that is not Dethklok, he still fits.Badass Normal: He's just a one man Moment of Awesome.Badass Longcoat: His winter gear in "Doublebookedklok".Badass in a Nice Suit: Kicks ass and manages to keep his suit clean at the same time.Badass Bureaucrat: He can fence, can fight assassins without breaking a sweat, lead the band's faceless minions like an army commander, and make sure Dethklok is fed and happy before the day is done. Also capable of kicking seven shades of shit out of people. Badass Bookworm: A smart, buttoned-up, nebbish looking guy in a suit.Back from the Dead: With an assist from the Church of the Black Klok.Awesome Moment of Crowning: Is made leader of the Church of the Black Klok at the end of "The Doomstar Requiem". Offdensen: Put the boots to him - medium style.
